Mulheres representam 50% dos consumidores online na internet brasileira

As mulheres já representam 50% dos compradores online da internet brasileira e, em alguns meses, a participação delas poderá subir para 51%. A constatação é da 18ª edição do estudo Relatório Webshoppers, realizada pela e-bit em parceria com a Câmara Brasileira de Comércio Eletrônico (camara-e.net), divulgado em São Paulo.

Em 2001, as mulheres representavam 37% dos consumidores online. O "raio-X do e-consumidor brasileiro", aponta que o aumento da presença do público feminino nas lojas virtuais é para ganhar tempo. Geralmente, essas e-consumidoras trabalham fora e têm a agenda atribulada. Elas recorrem à web para fugir do trânsito e das filas dos estabelecimentos tradicionais.

Mas, apesar da fama de gastar mais, o público feminino ainda tem tíquete médio, ou seja, valor gasto em cada compra na internet, inferior ao dos homens. Nos seis primeiros meses desse ano, as mulheres gastaram uma média de 272 reais, enquanto os homens desembolsaram 375 reais, ou seja, 38% a mais.

Isso ocorre porque o público feminino compra produtos mais baratos, como livros, artigos de saúde e beleza (perfumes, chapinhas, medicamentos, etc), moda e acessórios, cama, mesa e banho. Já os homens compram produtos de maior valor agregado, como informática e eletrônicos.
