Pesquisa mostra panorama do Executive Search no Brasil

A TRANSEARCH Brasil, empresa multinacional especialista em Executive Search, encomendou uma pesquisa à Factor de Solução (The Kline Group), multinacional sediada nos EUA com escritórios em todos os continentes, que indicasse os panoramas, tendências e necessidades da área de seleção de executivos.

A pesquisa foi realizada entre os dias 20 de agosto e 16 de outubro de 2008: foram entrevistados 62 CEOs e Diretores de empresas na Grande São Paulo, de diversos setores e com faturamento superior a US$ 100 milhões em 2007. O resultado mostrou que o principal objetivo com a contratação de executivos é o desafio de expandir a empresa em território nacional, com 71% das respostas das empresas brasileiras e 69% entre as estrangeiras.

Em segundo lugar vem a necessidade de ampliação de resultados, seguido por expansão das atividades no exterior. As empresas ainda reportaram dificuldade em atrair, reter e desenvolver talentos, assim como na gestão de carreira dos mesmos, com satisfação entre os níveis médio e fraco.

No desenvolvimento de talentos, os principais desafios apontados foram a ausência de programas e processos para o desenvolvimento de talentos (43%) e a inadequação dos programas utilizados (34%). No caso da retenção, faltam programas de incentivos específicos para esse fim em 49% das empresas e 26% delas não oferecem salários competitivos sob o ponto de vista das mesmas.

Para tornar mais eficiente a atração de talentos, 55% das empresas acreditam que precisam melhorar a imagem frente aos concorrentes e 26% necessitam de incentivos e benefícios melhores. A baixa atratividade do setor de negócios foi citada em 25% dos casos. Faltam programas e planos definidos de carreira em 38% das empresas. Ainda há necessidades como acompanhamento de desempenho (24%), formalização de processo (22%) e mapeamento de competências (20%).

Diante deste panorama, 100% das empresas nacionais e 87% das estrangeiras pretendem manter a contratação de serviços de executive search no mesmo patamar, com buscas esporádicas. A pesquisa ainda mostrou que 50% das empresas buscam executivos por falta de candidatos internos. A necessidade de preencher cargos-chave representa 30% e 48% têm motivações diversas.
