IBGE: número de lares com computador dobrou entre casas com renda mensal de até R$ 302 por pessoa

O número de domicílios com computadores subiu de 1,4% para 3,1% de 2004 para 2006 entre os lares com renda média mensal de até R$ 302 per capta. Segundo dados da PNAD 2006 (Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios) divulgados nesta sexta-feira, 28/08, pelo IBGE, a presença de PCs aumentou no prazo de dois anos nos domicílios que fazem parte de programas sociais.

Entre os 10 milhões de domicílios que participaram de programas sociais como Programa Bolsa Família e Programa de Erradicação do Trabalho Infantil, 308 mil compraram computador.

Desse total, 3,655 milhões de pessoas ganhavam entre um quarto e menos de meio salário mínimo no valor de 2006. Já 2,513 milhões de pessoas ganhavam até um quarto de salário mínimo. Apenas 87 mil ganham entre um e menos de dois salários mínimos.

Isso significa que houve um aumento da penetração de PCs na casas de baixa renda. De acordo com a pesquisa, essas famílias possuem uma renda média per capta que varia de R$ 147 a R$ 302 por mês.

No total, a PNAD aponta 12,72 milhões de domicílios com computador no Brasil. Esse valor representa 22% no universo de 54,61 milhões de lares no País.

As informações fazem parte do suplemento sobre acesso a transferências de renda de programas sociais governamentais 1 (federal, estadual e municipal), da Pnad (Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios), realizada pelo IBGE em parceria com o MDS (Ministério de Desenvolvimento Social e Combate à Fome).

A pesquisa, que teve início em 2004, traça um perfil da população atendida pelos programas sociais no País, com novas perguntas direcionadas para o Programa Bolsa Família, o BPC (Benefício Assistencial de Prestação Continuada) e o Peti (Programa de Erradicação do Trabalho Infantil). A PNAD 2006 foi realizada por meio de uma amostra probabilística de domicílios e entrevistou 410.241 pessoas, em 145.547 domicílios em todo o Brasil.
